Updates From Your School Clinicians

September 2015

As the new school year begins, we would like to remind you that your school counselors are here to help. From school issues to friendship to family changes, we have a wide variety of tools and resources available to assist you and your child no matter the concern.

At the end of last year, we received a $600 grant to add resources to our parent lending library. Some of these new materials will be on display during Open House.  Be sure to stop by and check them out! We will also be adding this information, along with update information on community resources, to our website so check back often.

March 2015 - SSADD at OCRS

Mrs. McGee and Mrs. Lanzieri have been co-leading SSADD (Small Students Against Destructive Decisions) with the 4th graders at OCRS in the mornings before school. Students have been educating their peers on varying topics pertaining to making good choices in life. This past month focused on friendship, self esteem, and anti-bullying. Students made posters and poems which are now on display at the Greenville Public Library along with books showcased in the 'Bubble'.
